How does Vircab actually work?
Your customer uploads a photo on the product page. Our AI engine renders the product on their body in about 10 seconds. The result appears in the same modal, no page reload, no app to install.
What clothing categories are supported?
Apparel: dresses, tops, t-shirts, shirts, jackets, coats, sweaters, hoodies, pants, jeans, shorts, skirts. We support both straight and curve fits across all sizes.
How fast is the try-on?
10 seconds end-to-end on average. The job runs async in the background, so the customer keeps browsing while it processes.
Will it slow down my Shopify store?
No. Vircab loads as an isolated widget and runs all rendering on our infrastructure. The script tag is async and adds zero blocking time to your storefront.
Is customer data GDPR-compliant?
Yes. We implement Shopify's customer data request, customer redact, and shop redact webhooks. Photos are processed once, never used for training, and removed on customer request.
What if a try-on result looks off?
AI try-on is not 100% perfect every time. Complex prints or unusual garment shapes can drift. The key thing: your customer sees the result before deciding, so a mismatch never reaches checkout. Net effect, an unsure customer stays unsure, not surprised on delivery.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Vircab is billed through Shopify, so cancellation is one click in your Shopify admin. No contracts, no minimum term.
Do you offer custom or enterprise plans?

Why does it say 'hand-crafted, not vibe-coded'?
Most Shopify try-on apps are quick wrappers around third-party APIs with no architecture, no test coverage, and brittle in production. Vircab is built with Clean Architecture, full test coverage, audit logs, and Kubernetes infrastructure. That is the same engineering discipline you would expect from production software, applied to a try-on app.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
If you do not pick a plan, your Shopify subscription is not activated and the app stops rendering try-ons. If you uninstall, customer photos are removed via Shopify's shop redact webhook (within 48 hours per Shopify policy). Re-install anytime, picks up where you left off.
